Recommended usage
We recommend following industry standard brooding practices for quail. 6/7 quail per square foot up to 3 weeks then after, 3/4 quail per foot. It is recommended to lay down a non-slick surface on top of the wire for the first week to help chicks keep their footing and help develop strong leg muscles. A brooding plate may be used inside the brooder and the wire doors allow a safetly barier for heat lamps if used.
